Rembrandt, gravures

Identity and exhibition for a master painter exhibition.

2017

Spotted in the Couvent Sainte-Cécile in Grenoble, the Rembrandt exhibition, Etchings, presents sixty-eight original etchings acquired in 2017 by the Glénat Fund for Heritage and Creation.

The luminous atmosphere and the color palette used in the presentation reflect the chromatic universe of the artist’s painted works.

In view of the extremely small dimensions of the works presented, several enlargements support the pedagogical discourse and magnifying glasses are available for the public.

The different density levels of the graphic pattern, obtained by playing on the thickness of the line, hint at the technique used by the artist.
